A delay

Summer is now officially underway and there is so many thoughts running through my head. With my little ghetto Corolla (conveniently named Lola) on the road finally, the world is my oyster. Not a huge fan of oysters, but none the less I will make due.

Recently the local forecast has strictly been rain with a future thunderstorm and a side of rain. Today is somewhat nice and I am trying to plan out what to do this coming weekend besides work.

Considering I have already have seen my dumb ass movie of the summer: The Hangover I can officially say that I am happy I am sober. Hilarious yes, but more often dumber than a rock. Not only was the movie a bust but it was hilarious seeing cougar mothers with their 12 year old sons watching the movie. Come on folks when the movie title is The Hangover I don't get the vibe that it is a movie for the entire family.

If I were a movie critique I would give it a 6 out of 10. Probably the best part of the movie was Zach Galifianakis and his border pedophile tendencies and his ultimate love for the Jonas Brothers. Go see it if you want to lose a few brain cells or find 3 men running around still a little bit buzzed getting into more trouble than the Little Rascals.

What did you think of the Hangover?

A few of my favorite things

So recently things have been going down the tubes. So instead of worrying about things and letting them get down I am trying to make a wish list of things I want to do during summer vacation. Kind of like my own mini summer bucket list.

Going to Martha's Vineyard for a week, camping over 4th of July weekend, spending countless days at the beach ( if my poor Irish skin can handle that). Plus planning birthday party idea's for friends. On top of going on more walks, getting a job, and planning for the fall. Oh well, I hope summer will take a turn for the better with these plans.

The First Of Many

Well I guess this is my first post, and all that I really am sure of is that having this blog could somehow help me de-stress and be better organized. I welcome anyone to read that would be actually interested in my life.

Summer vacation has begun with a stressful start. Is anyone else trying to find a summer job? The economy is making it practically impossible to find one, but I digress. Just give me some warm days with a pair of worn out flip flops and the beach and I will be all set.

I was asked an interesting question the other day and I have still yet to decide my answer: What is your favorite smell of summer?

Could it be the smell of the ocean on a nice cool breeze?

Or firing up the grill?

The smell of dew after a summer thunder storm?

See how I have such a hard time deciding which is superior. Let me know what you think.
